This is my twist on the Amelia – a lovely St Germain cocktail. I really like the original but I thought it was a little too thick. Instead of blackberry puree, I use a blackberry liqueur. It’s much lighter and certainly more refreshing!
- 3 – 4 blackberries muddled in the shaker
- 1.5 oz Ketel One Citroen
- 0.75 oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- o.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- o.5 oz Briottet Creme de Mure
Add you’re ice, shake, and then strain in a chilled cocktail coupe. Garnish with a flamed lemon peel and a blackberry!
In my experience the ladies really enjoy this drink so cheers! 😉
